A little shorter than the Dewalt which feels right. Weight is not an issue as with some Milwaukee tools. As a pro resto shop we burn up about two Dewalt buffers a year. The slow start up and speed control are excellent. I would defiantly recommend this buffer. We have run every available brand and so far the Milwaukee seems far superior. The case is higher quality than other brands.
I highly recommend this excellent machine. We detail tractor-trailer cabs; they are a little more involved and take more time than a car. Milwaukee 5460-6 7-Inch/9-Inch Polisher with Electronic Speed Control After using my friends Milwaukee 5460, my Makita 9227c, which is a good machine, feels like a toy. The Milwaukee has better balance, is a little quieter and didn't get as hot, after extended use.
IT remove all my swirl marks off my 2008 lexus gs 350 never had to go past 2000 rpm I am very happy camper with this polisher one thing is a little heavy after 1 hour of use so you need to take a brake all around is great
Completely removed haze and restored boats finish. I used this product to remove oxidation from my fiberglass ski boat. I tried several different compounds with no luck until I used them with the polisher.
Spend some extra money and buy a real tool. I bought a cheap polisher for $30 that did a lousy job polishing thecar and motorcycles. Then I bought the Milwaukee - I can tell you this isthe real one - I was able to put a mirror finish back on scratched motorcycle tanks whereas the cheap polisher only seemed to create a mess. The balance, vibration, and longevity of this machine is far superior to the cheap ones.
